Working Principle of Coalescence and Separation Filter

The coalescence and separation system consists of two parts: coalescence filter and separation filter. It realizes efficient separation of oil-water and gas-liquid by fiber adsorption, droplet coalescence, interface characteristics and gravity sedimentation.

First stage: Coalescence filter

The fluid first passes through the coalescence filter. The composite fiber material intercepts solid impurities. Tiny emulsified droplets adhere and collide on the fiber surface, and gradually merge into large droplets.

Gravity sedimentation

The large droplets formed by coalescence settle down to the bottom of the container under gravity and separate from the main fluid.

Second stage: Separation filter

The separation filter adopts hydrophobic or oleophobic material. It blocks residual tiny droplets and allows only purified fluid to pass, realizing deep purification.
